An appointment will be made as soon as possible for you to have an initial interview with us. This will give you the opportunity to find out more about the counselling we offer at Wellspring, and will enable us to ensure that the kind of help we are able to offer will meet your particular needs.
Should you decide to take up the offer of help, we will arrange an appointment for you with one of our counsellors at a mutually agreed time. You will continue to meet regularly, usually once a week for one hour for six weeks. After this time we will together review your situation and if mutually agreed, sessions can continue for as long as is appropriate.
To meet the administrative costs of setting up the first appointment, there is an initial fee. Wellspring is a registered charity and is entirely dependent upon its survival on gifts and donations from clients, individuals, supporting churches and other organisations. As the costs of maintaining the service are high, we therefore expect those who are able, to make a donation towards the costs of each counselling session.
However, as no fixed charge is made, we do not wish anyone who is genuinely unable to make a donation to feel that they cannot seek help.
